SGS successfully achieved UKAS accreditation to FSSC version 4.1
We are very pleased to announce that we have successfully achieved UKAS accreditation to FSSC version 4.1. This is a significant step and will allow us to deliver accredited certification for version 4.1 in advance of our competition.
Being the first major CB to offer UKAS Accreditation for FSSC version 4.1 really demonstrates to our clients how committed SGS is in developing and driving continual improvement, with the capability and resources fully in place to deliver this accredited certification globally.
For our clients, this is also an important message to pass as it, as it will allow them to be among the first to be certified to FSSC version 4.1.
As hopefully you are all aware we are required to provide certification and audits to version 4.1 from January 2018. However now that we have the accreditation in place, it means we can deliver accredited audits and certificates immediately.
In addition to this, we are also now able to provide accredited FSSC certificates for facilities within the catering sector. This is a very exciting new prospect in a dynamic food sector with good growth potential.
